Intense lives up to its name without overplaying it. The opening pulls together apple, mandarin, and bergamot, three notes that read fresh in the first ten minutes but already hint at warmth underneath. The fruit isn't sweet; the citrus isn't sharp. The composition is more controlled than the name suggests.

The mid-phase moves through geranium, jasmine, violet, and lavender, a four-flower heart that reads masculine rather than feminine, with the geranium and lavender setting the dominant character. By the second hour, the base arrives: vanilla, cardamom, pepper, and sandalwood. The drydown is where the perfume turns oriental in the classic sense. Warm vanilla, dry sandalwood, soft spice, and the kind of cedar-adjacent finish that holds for hours.

At 20% perfume-oil concentration, the EDP runs eight to ten hours on skin and longer on fabric. Sillage is moderate to strong in the first three hours, then closer in.
